This year, ahead of Rosh Hashanah, we wanted to bring back the excitement of the 1980s \u2014 a time when Ofra Haza\u2019s songs topped the charts in Israel, and the sky was the limit.
\nIn her honor, we created a special and emotional countdown of her greatest songs \u2014 a tribute to one of the most iconic voices Israeli music has ever known.<\/p>\n
We began by collecting all of Ofra\u2019s songs that appeared in the music charts during the 1980s, and then added more unforgettable tracks: international classics, songs from her global albums, and moving pieces from the later stages of her career \u2014 songs that are simply inseparable from her legacy.<\/p>\n
For a week, we opened our hearts and invited her fans to vote:
