Bezalel Aloni’s son, Roy, passed away unexpectedly on Yom Kippur.
Roy, who assisted his father in managing Ofra Haza’s career, was interviewed alongside Ofra before the Arad Festival in July 1995. At the time, he was trying his luck as a singer with the band “Hever HaMushba’im” (“The Jury”).
After Ofra’s passing, he wrote, composed, and performed the song “Sodot” (“Secrets”), the theme song of the memorial film Bezalel created in her honor.
