Ofra Haza Song Countdown for Rosh Hashanah 5786

This year, ahead of Rosh Hashanah, we wanted to bring back the excitement of the 1980s — a time when Ofra Haza’s songs topped the charts in Israel, and the sky was the limit.
In her honor, we created a special and emotional countdown of her greatest songs — a tribute to one of the most iconic voices Israeli music has ever known.

We began by collecting all of Ofra’s songs that appeared in the music charts during the 1980s, and then added more unforgettable tracks: international classics, songs from her global albums, and moving pieces from the later stages of her career — songs that are simply inseparable from her legacy.

For a week, we opened our hearts and invited her fans to vote:
Which Ofra Haza songs do you love most?

And now, the results are in.
They’re moving, surprising — and above all, filled with love:

⑤ – “Yad BeYad” (“Hand in Hand”)
④ – “Chai” and “Im Nin’Alu” (tied)
③ – “Gabriel”, “Tfila” (“Prayer”), and “Shir HaFrecha” (“The Tart Song”) (three-way tie)
② – “Mishehu Holech Tamid Iti” (“Someone Always Walks With Me”)
① – “Amen LeMilim” (“Amen to Words”)

Wishing you all a sweet and happy new year 🍎🍯
