Hebrew Anniversary of Ofra Haza’s Passing – New on the Website!

Today, we mark 26 years (according to the Hebrew calendar) since the passing of the late Ofra Haza. Time passes, but the longing for her unique voice, captivating smile, and the personality that touched hearts all over the world only grows stronger.

For me, the best way to cherish her memory is to continue documenting the fascinating milestones of her magnificent career. In honor of this day, I am happy to share a significant update to the “Performances” page on the website dedicated to her.

We have added expanded information and rare photos from two early and important international milestones:

  • The “Here is Israel” Show (1976): The spectacular concert tour across the United States, where a young Ofra captivated American audiences and was already being hailed as an “outstanding soloist.”

  • The tour with “Chocolate-Menta-Mastik” (1978): A fascinating period in Scandinavia and Finland, where Ofra proved her high vocal abilities as part of a leading female ensemble.

These stations served as Ofra’s international “baptism by fire” and paved the way for her to become Israel’s cultural ambassador to the entire world.

I invite you to visit the website, read about these new shows, and join me in remembering these magical moments.

Visit the Tours page.

May her memory be blessed and played forever. 🎶
