Today we sadly mark the 25th anniversary of the passing of Ofra Haza. In recent years, it has been proven time and time again that Ofra was and still is the greatest of them all. She is the only Israeli singer to be selected for the list of the 200 greatest female singers in world history. Celine Dion is not on the list – and Ofra Haza is. It was only recently announced that even today, 25 years after her death and even more years since she recorded songs in Hebrew, she is still the fourth most played singer on Israeli radio.

Out of great longing, we decided to re-establish the website in memory of Ofra. She deserves to be remembered for all the good she did here, for the wonderful songs she left us. The website was set up quickly so that it would be up to date, and in the near future we will continue to correct and improve all the pages on it. Later, we will add new materials.
